Herniated Disc Pain

Herniated disk occurs when the soft jelly like in texture centre of the vertebras known as the nucleus pushes against the bone part of the vertebrae. This causes the nucleus to bulge out of the disk, towards the spinal canal applying pressure on the nerve root. This as a result causes weakness and pain to the specific area that the pressure it applied to.

Signs and Symptoms

  • Pain in the shoulder and arms
  • Shooting pain when moving or sneezing
  • Tingling sensation in areas such as arms and shoulder
  • Muscles weakness
