Trigger Finger Pain

Trigger finger occurs when the tendons of the fingers become irritated and inflamed usually as a result of being overused and each of the tendons and when irritated it can become scared and thickened. The formation of bumps (nodules) and causes issues with being able not mobilise the finger joint

Signs and Symptoms

  • Finger stiffness, more prominent in the morning
  • Popping/clicking sensation whilst moving the fingers
  • Finger locking whilst bending and straightening
  • Swelling at the finger
  • Tender/soreness
